Facing the calm immensity of the Río de la Plata, this living and music room is incorporated as a pavilion attached to the main house, expanding the act of inhabiting towards contemplation, creativity and musical experience.
The architecture is configured from a horizontal box of harmonic proportions, which respects the scale of the environment and the existing house. Pure volumes and noble materials -concrete, metal, wood and glass- trace a sober presence, in dialogue with the horizon line and the wild character of the coastal landscape.
Inside, wood appears as a living material: it covers the floors and rises up to the ceilings in continuous planes that provide warmth and domesticity, while improving acoustic comfort. Thus, the space is transformed into a sensitive chamber, designed to welcome both music and pause.
This architectural body manifests itself as a threshold between everyday life and the suspended time of artistic creation. Architecture and music are intertwined here in the same quest: that of a deep harmony, a precise rhythm, where each note and each line builds a space for the soul.
